Teen Health Educators

Through our award-winning flagship program, we extensively train selected high school students (9th-12th grades) about critical youth health issues. Teen Health Educators then work in small teams, supervised by an adult leader, to provide peer education and peer mentoring throughout the community and state with a special focus on helping vulnerable youth.

Priorities are set on an annual basis after examining the current major issues facing youth. Topics for education include mental health, trauma, sexually transmitted diseases, healthy relationships, bullying, social media safety, and substance abuse.

See the flyer below for more details about the program.
