Giving Challenge

The Giving Challenge is SW Florida’s premier one-day giving event, aimed at encouraging individual philanthropy to nonprofits based in the region.


The Giving Challenge 2022 was held on Tuesday, April 26th at 12:00 PM through Wednesday, April 27th at 12:00 PM. All donations up to $100, per donor, per organization, were matched through the generosity of the Patterson Foundation.


Within the overall Giving Challenge theme of “Be the ONE”, the Healthy Teens theme for 2022 was “Teen Throwback”! We got all nostalgic as we remembered what it was like being a teen, and how much a program like Teen Health Educators might have made a difference to our experience.

The Giving Challenge 2022 raised an incredible $16,204,718 for 667 local organizations, involving over 46,000 individual donors!

Thanks to our incredible supporters, $11,750 was raised for Healthy Teens!

See you next time! We expect the Giving Challenge to take place again in 2024.
